Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Inner Citadel. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application (the "App") or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not accept these terms, you must not use or access our services. We cultivate virtue, discipline, and intellectual sovereignty.

2. Standard Apple EULA Alignment

If you downloaded our App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), which can be found at Apple's Standard EULA page.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA, Apple’s Standard EULA shall prevail regarding your use of the App on iOS devices.

3. Subscription & Pro Access Billing

Ascending to Pro unlocks premium capabilities, including unlimited AI mentor interactions, personalized weekly epistles, and cloud synchronization.

• Billing: Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are charged to your Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Pricing and Plans: The current offerings include a Monthly plan (billed monthly) and an Annual plan (billed annually). Prices are displayed clearly within the App’s paywall interface before purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Cancellation and Management: You can manage your subscription, adjust billing cycles, or disable auto-renewal by visiting your Apple App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple according to App Store terms. We do not issue refunds directly.

4. The Oracle & AI Sage Guidance

Dialogues with Mentors and responses from the Oracle are generated via Artificial Intelligence. They are provided solely for historical, philosophical, and reflective purposes. Under no circumstances do they constitute medical, legal, or psychological advice. If you are experiencing distress, please seek help from qualified professionals.

5. Sovereign Ownership of Thoughts

Your journals, reflections, negative visualizations, and sorted matrices are your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of your thoughts. You are solely responsible for exporting or backing up your data using the cloud sync or PDF export tools.

6. Stoic Limitation of Liability

In alignment with the Stoic Dichotomy of Control, we control the codebase, but the external execution depends on third-party frameworks and Apple APIs. The service is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for any data loss, emotional distress, or external events beyond our sovereign willpower.
